We have been selling top quality topiary and baytrees at our nursery in Hertford since 1982. Our plants are looked after by experts and will arrive at your venue in perfect condition.
We have now joined together with The Christmas Company to offer you a comprehensive topiary and decorative lights hire service.
We can hire you topiary and lights for all events, weddings, corporate functions, conferences, birthday parties, anniversaries and house dressing prior to sale.
The topiary will placed in stylish, good looking planters, chosen either by us or by you to match the style of the venue.

Why not continue the theme and dress the plants with lights from our large selection (depending on a safe electricity point?).
The lights can also be used to brighten up indoor rooms, outdoor marquees and garden parties. Or if you prefer, we can use ribbons to decorate the plants matching the colour theme of your celebration or event.

• a guide to our hire charges
The price guide is used to calculate the cost of hiring one individual plant. For more than one plant, calculate for the cost of each plant. Do not add the individual costs together to work out the hire charge. Example:
1 Plant at value of £75 for 1 day will be £15,
6 plants at value of £75 each for 1 day will be £90. To add lights and to decorate trees, prices will be given by quote.
There is an additional delivery charge which will include the delivery, placing the plants to make them look stunning and collection. Please ask us for the deliver/collection charge to your venue.
A full information pack will be available when you hire your plants.

We have not limited your choice to a few plants, you can choose from the hundreds we have in stock.
We can offer you all kinds of shapes and varieties, animals, cones, spirals, balls, duos, trios, clouds and hedging.
Plants used are Box, Holly, small leaf Privet, Yew, Conifer, Laurel, Photinia and others.
The plants are available for hire on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.
Please ask and we will try to give you the service you want.

• directions to our nursery
We would be delighted to welcome you to the nursery and discuss your ideas and view the plants and planters but please note that our opening times are limited, so phone before you visit.

• boring but necessary stuff
When hiring your plants from us, it becomes your responsibility to ensure the plants are well looked after whilst they are in your care. All of them will require a bit of water if they are staying with you for more than a weekend. We will give you a print out of the basics so that it doesn't appear too daunting.
We will require a deposit for the plants, which will be held by Crown Topiary Hire Ltd. until the plants are collected or returned to the nursery. If the plants are in good condition, the deposit will be returned.
We may need to make a site visit to check out if access is okay and inform you about lights and how many we can use if required.
